Baan architects started its professional activities in 2016. With great curiosity to create meaningful projects, Baan Architects tries to redefine the problem by examining the program(plan), form, context and structure of the project plus creating a common dialogue between the members (which is accompanied in the design by a degree of plurality and individuality) and audience. In this way, by using his extensive experience that include ideas and relationships between them, he reaches new possibilities. Eventually, it is the existence of this plurality and diversity of thought that leads to the production of a set of ideas in different conceptual layers of architecture.

Ideas

Architecture and city are more of a structure than a product in our vision. Therefore, in the form of our extensive experience, we try to make sure that tomorrow is a little better than today by taking advantage of the ideas that have shaped architecture and the city. We look for the hidden potential within each project in their context, program-function, form and interaction to create structures that arouse sparks of curiosity, pleasure and emotion.

Exploration

We examine the current situation with the ambition, collaboration and friendship we have with our clients and strive to go beyond that and engage with each other to create insights and capitalize on future opportunities. This relationship causes architecture to grow in the form of a multi-dimensional expression, and we defamiliarize familiar architectural elements with the use of repeatable and extensive experience approaches which is accompanied by illustrations, drawings, conversations and models. We will create a different future. The future and the dream that are the intersection of curious and continuous conversations between the key elements shaping a project (investor, architects, builders, users, etc.).

Realization

Each project is a shared experience with clients towards alternative futures. Our dominant approach in projects has a problem-solving view, with this view we research and discuss about the platform, program and interaction between them. For this purpose, we try to reveal the hidden capacities of each project with the help of numerous ideas while analyzing the factors affecting the plan. In this process, we also use dialogue as an important tool to establish constructive interactions with investors. Our commitment often leads to long-term friendships and partnerships in the future.
